Instructions
Rinse the fresh spinach leaves under cold water to remove any dirt or grit. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
In a blender, combine the fresh spinach, frozen mixed berries, ripe banana, Greek yogurt, and almond milk.
If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add honey or maple syrup to the blender.
Add the chia seeds for a nutrient boost, if desired.
Blend at high speed until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
Once blended, taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with additional honey or maple syrup if necessary.
