Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Add the peas to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion and garlic. Cook for about 5-7 minutes if using fresh peas, or until heated through if using frozen peas.
Sprinkle in the fresh thyme and rosemary, and stir to incorporate the herbs evenly throughout the peas.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then drizzle the lemon juice over the mixture.
Remove from heat, and garnish the dish with lemon zest for a fresh pop of flavor.
