to servecooked jasmine rice or noodles
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Once hot, add the marinated beef in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced ginger and garlic. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the sliced red bell pepper and snow peas. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet still crisp.
Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables. Stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce and mix well, cooking for an additional minute until the sauce coats the meat and vegetables.
Stir in chopped green onions and let it cook for another minute. Remove from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish.
Serve the stir-fry over cooked jasmine rice or noodles, ensuring that each bowl has a generous amount of the sauce.
Notes
Serve with jasmine rice or noodles for a complete meal.
