to tastedark chocolate shavings or chopped nuts (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Begin by taking the frozen bananas out of the freezer and allowing them to sit for about 5 minutes to soften slightly. This makes blending easier.
In a blender or food processor, combine the frozen bananas, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and sea salt.
Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, slowly add in the almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.
Taste the nice cream and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or syrup if desired.
Once blended, transfer the nice cream into a freezer-safe container and smooth the top with a spatula.
For an extra special touch, fold in any optional mix-ins, like dark chocolate shavings or chopped nuts, before freezing.
Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and freeze for 1-2 hours to firm up, if you prefer a firmer texture.
When ready to serve, scoop the nice cream into bowls and enjoy!
Notes
Serve in chilled bowls and top with dark chocolate shavings, chopped nuts, or a drizzle of extra peanut butter for a visually appealing dish.
