Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss until all the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated with the mixture.
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot Brussels sprouts, allowing it to melt slightly.
Optional: Drizzle with balsamic glaze to add a tangy sweetness, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
