Copyright Policy

This Copyright Policy (“Policy”) sets out how Green Meal Map (“we,” “our,” or “us”) protects its creative work on https://greenmealmap.com (“Site”) and explains what to do if you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or if you wish to republish our material.

2. Permitted Uses (Personal & Non-Commercial)

You may:

  1. Print or save a reasonable number of copies of a recipe or article for personal, non-commercial use.

  2. Share a direct link to any public page on the Site via email or social media.

  3. Quote up to 100 words from any one article, provided you:

    • include a conspicuous hyperlink back to the original page on Green Meal Map; and

    • do not remove or alter attribution, copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

3. Prohibited Uses (Without Prior Written Consent)

You may not:

  • Re-publish any full recipe, article, or substantial portion of Content, whether online, in print, or by broadcast.

  • Copy our photographs or videos for use on your blog, social media, or commercial project.

  • Use our Content in AI training datasets, RSS “scraper” sites, apps, or newsletters.

  • Translate, remix, or adapt our Content and present it as your own.

  • Sell or license our Content, or use it in a manner that suggests we endorse you or your product.

To request permission for uses beyond Section 2, email contact@greenmealmap.com with a detailed description of the intended use.

4. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice & Takedown Procedure

If you believe that material on the Site infringes your copyright, submit a written notice containing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (URL or copy).

  2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing (URL or screenshot).

  3. Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

  6. Your electronic or physical signature.

4.1 Counter-Notice

If we remove or disable access to material you posted in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may file a counter-notice containing:

  1. Identification of the material removed or to which access was disabled and its location before removal.

  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you reside (or Hillsboro, Oregon, if outside the U.S.).

  4. Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a lawsuit seeking a court order.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, we will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, subscribers or account holders who are deemed repeat infringers.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Effective Date” and posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
